The story of Kung Fu Remix is the same as the original Kung-Fu Master, bad guys have kidnapped your girlfriend, and it is up to you to rescue her! You will have to face off against a variety of enemies using your martial arts prowess until you reach the end of each level. Every level has a dangerous boss enemy that must be defeated before advancing to the next.
Unlike the original Kung-Fu Master, Kung Fu Remix features special attacks. Defeating enemies fills a Capcom-style special bar at the bottom of the screen. This bar can be filled up to three times. Special 1 requires one bar, Special 2 requires two bars, and Special 3 requires a full three bars. Special attacks can be devastating against rank-and-file enemies, but cannot be employed against bosses.
